Sfumato: A Tragedy (Novel)

Description:
Sfumato is a literary fiction novel following a young adult’s life through his diary entries. This book offers an unflinching look at human suffering, exploring grief, suicidal ideation, self-harm, and depression without looking away.

In art, sfumato is the technique of blurring edges between light and shadow. In this book, it represents the slow erosion of identity as our character navigates loss of meaning and connection.

This project is dedicated to people who are suffering silently, those for whom suicide and self-harm have been part of life. I believe these internal realities deserve a voice that doesn’t flinch, and the people living them deserve to be seen.
